Coaches Background Check

The North Gwinnett Football Association is looking for volunteer football coaches for the 2010 season. If you are interested in participating and volunteering your time to a great organization and assisting with the well being of the youth and the families throughout our community, please complete a Coach's Application and a Coach's Background Check. The Background Consent Form must be completed in full and a copy of your driver’s license is required. Please return these forms as soon as possible to: NGFA, PO Box 283, Suwanee, GA. 30024

Note: Each applicant must be prepared to attend a mandatory coaching orientation and 4 coaching classes. This equates to around 10 hours spread out over 5 evenings. Dates to be announced on our web site soon. They also must agree to a background check that is performed on every volunteer we have in our organization.

All coaches are required to complete an application whether they have coached before or not and whether or not they are assisting a team or applying for a head coaching position. All applications are due prior to May 1st. Once we have a complete list of all coaching applicants the board will perform interviews for head coaching candidates in each age group. Hopefully, we will have all head coaching positions filled by mid May.
